Wisdio AI is a smart reading assistant. To function properly, it extracts text content and subtitles directly from the active web pages you browse (such as YouTube, Bilibili, or general articles) only when you explicitly interact with the extension (e.g., clicking the summarize button inside our Side Panel).

2. How We Use Your Information

The extracted text is transmitted securely via APIs to third-party AI service providers (such as DeepSeek, Siliconflow, OpenRouter) strictly for the purpose of generating summaries, translations, or chatbots based on your reading context. We do not use your data for any other purposes.

3. No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, web browsing history, or user-generated content to any third parties under any circumstances.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your web context data is processed in real-time and is not persistently stored on our servers. Any user settings or historical chats are stored locally on your device or synced securely via Chrome/browser's native storage APIs and Firebase Auth (only if you created an account).
